What Sex Therapy is.....

Sex therapy can help individuals and couples identify problems and help them to improve their sex life. Sex therapy involves exploring the physical, emotional, and relational issues in sexual relationships, and provides education on sexual functioning and techniques. The sex therapist may also make referrals to appropriate medical providers for testing and treatment of physical issues when indicated.

What a Sex Therapist is not.....

Although this may be obvious to many, it has happened that people have sometimes misconstrued what happens in the sex therapist's office. Please be aware that sex therapy never involves sexual contact with the therapist at any time. Neither sexual activity or nudity of any kind occurs with individuals or couples during sessions within the sex therapist’s office. Both individuals and/or couples may be given sexual homework assignments to do in the privacy of their own homes.
